Bishop Brenda K. Perry was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Her involvement in the work of the Lord began over twenty five years ago when she started with evangelism, and traveling extensively proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Perry acknowledged her calling to the ministry in 1982. Over the years she has established herself as a dynamic speaker, preacher, singer, motivator, and administrator. She has traveled throughout the United States, as well as Korea, South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe speaking at conferences, seminars, workshops, and local churches. Her desire and goal is for the Saints of God to function in their full potential by finding their rightful place in the body of Christ.
Bishop Perry is the President and Founder of the "Handmaidens of the Lord". Under her leadership the "Handmaidens of the Lord" ministry has been successful in rejuvenating in women the desire for the things of God.
In all of her traveling and work in the ministry, these blessings have not been a deterrent from her primary goals of being a faithful Shepherd, as well as a committed and happy Christian.
